Falcon - one of the helipocters produced in Poland. Used by many countries around the world like ZEA, German, Spain, Vietnam, Czech and more. First version of this machine was built in Polish-Russian cooperation in 1978. Currently Poland produces eight generation of the Falcon.

Falcon has two PZL-10W engines - 780 KM (574 kW) each one. It's construction based on duraluminium. Main rotor, built from 4 pieces, has 15,70 m in diameter. Falcon is near 19 meter long and 2 meter wide and 5 meters high. He weight about 3800 kg and could take about 2500 kg of cargo or 12 mens (2 crewmens). He's top speed is 260 km/h, but it flies mainly at 235 km/h. Speed of climbing is 8,5 m/s and range is 745 km.
Falcons are used not only as military vehicles. They were also used by police, hospitals, mountain rescues and even as VIP helicopters.

Falcons are produced in China. Poland concluded an agreement with this country, that they will produce 150 helicopters in years 2007-2014.
