Fryderyk Chopin is the second (after Dar Młodzieży - The gift from youth) biggest sailing ship in Poland and the biggest brig in the world. Brig is a vessel with two squere-ridged mast. Very popular in 18th and 19th century due to very good maneuverability and speed. Such ships were used as naval war ships and merchant ships.
Chopin is 55 meters long and takes onboard 56 crewmans. He's longest mast have more than 37 meters high. Top speed is about 16 knots on sails and 9 knots on engines (two engines with near 300 Hp)
