Lech Kaczyński was born with twin brother Jarosław. They were almost identical. They even, in childhood, played in Polish movie:" The Two Who Stole the Moon" (Pol:"O dwóch takich, co ukradli księżyc"). It was very popular fable about two twin brothers: Jacek and Placek, who, at first were cruel and lazy boys with only one purpose - to eat everything. One day they had the idea of stealing the moon, because they thought it is made of gold. They wanted to steal it, sell it and do nothing to the rest of their life. Finally, after some adventures, they managed to steal the moon. Later they were robbed, escaped and carried by robbers to the Golden City. There they saw, that bad robbers turned into the golden statues (because they were trying to steal gold from the city). Twins were so scary, that they run home and decided to work as farmers.

Lech Kaczyńsi was a graduate of Justice Department on Warsaw University. He worked as lecturer on Gdańsk University and then on Warsaw Stefan Wyszyński University. In 1990 he had his habilitation in labour and employment law.

Thats all what we want to say about raw facts from Lech Kaczyński life. It is pointless to describe his political work, because  information are on wikipedia. Instead of this, we will write a few things, which made Lech Kaczyński famous in Poland and in the World. We will try to be objective because Lech Kaczyński, as every politician, had his supporters and opponents.

He was sometimes "a little controversial'. Most known affair with him was when, he told "Fu*k off old man" to one of the annoying people from the crowd (Kaczyński was a minister than, not president).

F**k off said, by Lech Kaczyński

Except this blunder, which was of course blown by his opponents, Lech Kaczyński was known because of:

1. Communism oppositionist - he was event interned by communistic government as "anti-socialist element" (1981)

2. He strongly supported the construction of Museum of the Warsaw Uprising. It can be said, that without him, this museum would not be constructed.

3. He supported construction of museum of the Polish Jews in Warsaw. He was over religious divisions - he was the first Polish president, who visited Jewish Synagogue after II World War (Kaczyński was Catholic)

4.When other countries abandon Georgie after Russian attack (because of the fear of Russia) - Lech Kaczyński was one of the few presidents which declared the support for Georgia.

5. Lech Kaczyński fought for Poland energy independence.

Today in Poland, there are funeral ceremonies in Warsaw and Krakow. Lech Kaczyński and his wife will be buried in the Jozef Pilsudski (let's say it's famous Polish hero) tomb. The ceremonies will last to days and even such persons as USA president Barrack Obama (USA president), Angela Merkel (Germany), Nicolas Sarozy (French) declared to come.
