What is worth to see in Chorzow (pol Chorzów)? Definitely it is Silesian Culture and Recreation Park, which is 620 hectares recreation complex. Here You can find many attractions (we will write about them later), but today we describe one of them - communistic amusement park. The largest one in Poland.

Amusement park was created in 1959 and has area of 26 acres. Although it was modified and upgraded over the years, You can find some communistic residues such as characteristic shaped neons with attraction names.

Chorzow's park has nearly 58 atractions for visitors, inter alia: river splash, three large rollercoasters, water and so called "intense" atractions. Definitly worth to try is Tic-Tac Tornado - the only one rollecoaster with inversions in Poland and Silesia Tower - 50 meters high carousel which gives composition of spinning and free fall (when stopping it gives over 3G overload).
