The Leaning Tower in Torun - one of the two in Poland - was built in XIII. Of course, at first the tower was straight, but during years it started to lean because of soft ground. Nowadays it has more than 5 degrees tilt.

Torun was founded in 1230 by Teutonic Knights. They needed  an outpost to fight with Prus tribes and to start forming their own country, so they built a castle. This castle is presented on one of the panoramic views. What is funny, anti-Teutonic Knights uprising broke up just in Toruń in 1411. This uprising started 13 year war between Knights and Poland, after which Toruń become Polish town. Nowdays Toruń is one of the most beutifull Polish city.
