Danube Highway is definitely one of the biggest ship ever built in Poland. It is near 150 meters long and 25 m width and can take more than 7 700 t of cargo.Top speed of the ship is about 18 knots which is pretty fast for such giant.

Gemini 3 - Polish catamaran under Roman Paszke command is one of the fastest sailingboat ever. Sailing across the Atlantic from the West to the East takes this catamaran only 8 days 23 hours and 27 seconds. It is the World record. Last one was 11 days 5 hours and 32 minutes (MAXI „Capricorno” Catamaran) and was beaten two months ago - on 19.04.2010 - by Polish vessel.

Fryderyk Chopin is the second (after Dar Młodzieży - The gift from youth) biggest sailing ship in Poland and the biggest brig in the world. Brig is a vessel with two squere-ridged mast. Very popular in 18th and 19th century due to very good  maneuverability and speed. Such ships were used as naval war ships and merchant ships.

Chopin is 55 meters long and takes onboard 56 crewmans. He's longest mast have more than 37 meters high. Top speed is about 16 knots on sails and 9 knots on engines (two engines with near 300 Hp)
