Today photos of one of the Polish manors - manor in Lopuszna (village near Zakopane near Gorce mountains). The hause was built in 1790 by former confederate of Bar -Romuald Lisicki. For some time manor belongs to Leon Przerwa-Tetmajer - uncle of famous Polish Writer Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer. Till World War II manor was property of Lgocki family, but after 1945 the estate shared the fate of many other manors and was taken over by the Treasury. This almost led Lopuszna to ruin, but in 70'th the manor was taken over by the Tatra Museum and restored.

Manor in Lopusza is built in Polish traditional way. - rectangular shape, decorated wooden porch in front and the roof divided in 2:3 ratio covered by shingle (very characteristic to Polish manors). Moreover, all living rooms and bedrooms are located on the ground floor and the kitchen is in separate building (on the left on the first picture).
