Gypsy pilgrimage to Limanowa

Once a year (09.20) all Gypsies from Poland abandon their ordinary life and go pilgrimage. They gather in Łososiny Górne and in colorful parade they go to the Shrine in Limanowa.

Although pilgrimage is a pray, Gypsies could not refrain and their pilgrimage is full of dances and songs. Their are dressing their best costumes, adorn their vehicles (mainly old camping wagons) - in one word, their flaunt to others. So it is worth to go to the Limanowaand to see very corolful 'festiwal' of Roma culture and tradition.
