No, today's article is not about Polish sportsman but about... frog. Agile Frog (Rana dalatina) has only about 5 centimeters (max, female - 8,5 centimeters - but this is very rare) but can jump on the distance of two meters and the height of 0,75m! Such distance is 40 times it's body size - imagine human (avg. 1.75m) jumping on the distance of 70 meters.

Agile Frog is rare animal in Poland. It lives only in the south regions, so it is under strict law protection. It can be seen in the edge of the mixed forests in the deep grass, on wetlands and near ponds, where the mating takes place.

The frog does lay it's spawn not in one clump, as other frogs do. The spawn has only 2 milimeters in diameter.
