Cave bears - 30% larger than brown bear (the largest currently living bear) - became extinct almost 28 000 years ago. They had 2m length, 1,7 meter height and near 1000kg weight!

Cave bears lived on current Europe area. Archeologists find their skeletons only in caves, so it is believed, that bears spent most of their lives there.
